Nineteenth Annual Conference on Indian Economic Policy: Priorities for the New Government

On June 3 and 4, the Stanford King Center on Global Development hosted the 19th Annual Conference on Indian Economic Policy. The conference brought together policy makers, academics, business experts and community members to discuss critical issues facing the Indian economy. This year’s conference focused on priorities for the new government in India. As with earlier conferences, the program featured a mix of academic papers and panel sessions combining business leaders and senior policy makers. Session topics included agriculture, energy, health, media and politics, business and industry, and macro-economics.
