The Stanford China Economic Forum brought together scholars, business leaders from a range of industries, and other change makers, promoting dialogue, an open exchange of ideas, and collaboration, as is Stanford’s tradition.

The Stanford China Economic Forum focused on the roles that the United States and China play in promoting business, fostering the creation of new technologies, and pursuing sound economic policies that spur growth and development around the globe. Today, growth and competitiveness rely not only on new ideas, but also on the capability to commercialize these ideas and bring new products to market. The Stanford China Economic Forum was at the forefront of those conversations.

Aimed at engendering connections among academic researchers and business leaders who have a vested interest in furthering U.S./China collaboration, the Forum featured C-suite executives from a range of industries that discussed trends and forecasts, as well as faculty from across the university who shared cutting-edge academic research. Participation by Stanford alumni and affiliates also provided a wealth of knowledge and experience to all attendees.
