Conference on Firms, Trade and Development

Conference on Firms, Trade and Development

The International Growth Centre (IGC) and the Stanford King Center on Global Development will be hosting a one-day conference at Stanford on December 5th on the theme of “Firms, Trade and Development.”

The event will be organized by David Atkin (MIT), Dave Donaldson (MIT), Cecile Gaubert (Berkeley), Pete Klenow (Stanford), Meredith Startz (Stanford), Eric Verhoogen (Columbia) and Chris Woodruff (Oxford).

For attendees staying at the Sheraton Hotel, we recommend using the Marguerite Shuttle to get to and from the conference. The Marguerite Shuttle picks up and drops off at the Caltrain station in the parking lot of the Sheraton Hotel. In the morning, pick up the "Y" or "Y-L" at the Caltrain Station at 8:07 a.m. or 8:19 a.m., and ride to the Memorial Way stop just outside the conference center. After the conference, cross Galvez Street, and take the "X" or "X-L" to the Caltrain Station. For more details, please view the "Y" or "Y-L" line or the "X" or "X-L" line schedule on the Stanford Transportation Website.
