DEVPEC aims to give PhD students a chance to present their research and learn about what other students are working on in topics related to development economics and political economy. Participants will also interact with each other as well as faculty members in an informal and relaxed environment.

The organizers for this year are: Lukas Leucht (UC Berkeley), Mark Walsh (Stanford), David Qihang Wu (UC Berkeley) and Sally Zhang (Stanford). The event is generously supported by the Berkeley Center for Economics & Politics (BCEP) and the Stanford King Center on Global Development, and sponsored by the departments of Economics at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.

The event was held online on Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17.
