The King Center will host a virtual event on Tuesday, December 14 from noon to 1pm PST for Stanford PhD students of any discipline working on topics related to global development. This student-led conversation is for PhD students to share advice and tips about restarting fieldwork amidst the pandemic and to learn from each other.

Reporting from their experiences on navigating the research approval process and adapting survey and fieldwork protocols are:

  • Abisola Coretta Kusimo (Mechanical Engineering, currently doing fieldwork in Ghana);
  • Andres Felipe Rodriguez (Economics, currently doing fieldwork in Sierra Leone); and
  • Sally Zhang (Economics, planning for fieldwork in Kenya). 

The conversation and Q&A will be moderated by Soledad Artiz Prillaman, Assistant Professor of Political Science and King Center Faculty Affiliate.
