The King Center hosted an interactive workshop with Stanford Impact Labs (SIL) on solutions-oriented research, helping students work out how they can make an impact with their scholarship, and put their research expertise to use for society.
Participants came with a critical social problem in the global development space to discuss. Stanford Impact Labs' Sarah Hopwood and Alex Carr worked through a set of activities and frameworks that aimed to help determine how their research can make traction on addressing the social problem, which types of partners and organizations might want and need their research expertise, and how to move from research to impact.
