For Prospective Visitors
The King Center has limited space to host faculty, researchers, and policymakers. King Center Faculty Affiliates are welcome to nominate distinguished visitors from leading academic and research-oriented organizations for periods from one month to one year.
What to expect as a visitor
Visitors are provided with office space in the John A. and Cynthia Fry Gunn Building and have many opportunities for intellectual exchange with King Center faculty affiliates and the broader Stanford research community.
During their stay, visitors participate in seminar series and workshops across campus, as well as disseminate their work through the King Center’s Working Paper Series. They are also invited to engage with the policy and business communities during events held at the King Center.
A visitor's time spent at the King Center is intended to expand his or her network of collaborators and mentors and to generate innovative research that can lead to real-world impact on global poverty.
Visitors will have no teaching obligations but will be requested to hold regular office hours for students and engage with their host department and at King Center events.
