Dylan Gabriele Maghini

Dylan Maghini is a recent NIH Fogarty Global Health Equity Scholars postdoctoral fellow supervised by Professor Ami Bhatt in the Department of Genetics and Hematology at Stanford University. Her doctoral research focused on the application of sequencing techniques to measure and assemble microbial genomes from South African gut microbiomes, as part of the H3Africa AWI-Gen project. Her current research focuses on understanding the intersection between genomic, environmental, clinical, and microbiome factors in health and disease in African populations.
