Kyra Jasper is an undergraduate student from North Carolina prospectively studying international relations. She is interested in refugee rights and reconciliation in post-conflict states. After living in Skopje, Macedonia during a gap year, Jasper is particularly interested in understanding methods for reducing corruption and increasing governmental accountability. Her co-curricular activities include interning for the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan and working with the American Middle Eastern Network for Dialogue at Stanford (AMENDS). She will be a summer field research assistant for the project Blasphemy Laws and Discrimination in Indonesia.
