Marie Christelle Mabeu

Marie Christelle Mabeu was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the King Center on Global Development. Her research interests are in development economics, health economics, and political economy. Her primary research agenda explores the long-run impact of historical and contemporary institutions on reproductive behavior, early-age human capital accumulation and female empowerment, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. She completed her PhD from the University of Ottawa in 2020.
