Phillip Lipscy is a scholar of international relations and political economy, with a particular interest in international organizations, the politics of energy and the environment, and the politics of East Asia, particularly Japan. He is also a member of the Freeman Institute for International Studies (FSI) at Stanford.

He is the author of Renegotiating the World Order: Institutional Change in International Relations, from Cambridge University Press.
