Sian McAllister

Sian McAllister is a Predoctoral Research Fellow at the King Center on Global Development. She is Irish-Singaporean, and grew up in China, Malaysia, France, Russia, and the United Kingdom. She recently graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and a BA in History with a focus in Environmental History. During her time at the University of Chicago, she worked as a research assistant in the Energy and Environment Lab researching the drivers of water use and conservation, and at the Technology Policy Institute on projects related to data privacy. Her primary research interest is the intersection of environmental and development economics.
