Wendy Aquino

Wendy Aquino is the Marketing and Engagement Strategist at the King Center on Global Development. She coordinates outreach for the center’s events and programs, designing and distributing communications materials.

Before she joined the King Center in 2022, she graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a dual bachelor's degree in managerial economics (with an emphasis in international business economics), and communication.

She was born and raised in Malaysia, and has lived in the United States since starting college. She has an avid interest in languages: She speaks English and Malay natively, and she has studied Mandarin, French, Japanese and Korean to varying degrees.
