Next generation of global scholars

The King Center actively recruits and mentors scholars from diverse backgrounds and  creates an inclusive environment where  fellows at both the pre- and post-doctoral stage can immerse themselves  at the -research frontier,  significantly contributing to ambitious faculty-led projects and developing their own scholarship. Our programs  provide fellows a strong base from which to succeed in their future global development careers.

Experiential learning for Stanford students

Students involved with the King Center are granted inspiring  hands-on learning opportunities in global development research. Through exposure to faculty-led in-the-field research, faculty mentorship, and engaging with external partners, students have the opportunity to discover new career pathways, hone valuable research skills, and collaborate with peers and researchers on campus and around the world.
