Our mission
We empower a multidisciplinary community of scholars to conduct path-breaking research, shape policy and practice, and train and inspire a diverse new generation of global leaders.
The King Center is proud to share our 2023-2024 Annual Report. This year we awarded 152 projects, funded over $900,000 in student research awards, welcomed over 3,000 people to our events, and launched two initiatives at the intersection of climate and development.
Graduate student programs
The King Center supports Stanford doctoral student research, particularly field-based work in middle- and low-income countries, by offering research funding and fellowships, as well as community events.
