Geneviève Féraud is the head of the Knowledge Development Branch of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Switzerland and a visiting scholar at the King Center on Global Development. Her previous responsibilities at the United Nations were head of the Information and Communication Technologies and E-Business Branch, UNCTAD, and deputy director of programmes at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) in Torino, Italy.
Geneviève Féraud started her career with IBM and has held several managerial positions with private companies in the field of information systems. After receiving her PhD in business strategy and information systems from the University of Aix-Marseille, France, Féraud conducted research and taught at several European and American universities and schools, including Harvard Business School. Féraud has developed executive education programs with large-size international companies in the fields of knowledge development, technology, business strategy and organizational behavior.
